The credit can be used to offset your event hotel booking cost (resort fees) for BeachBind V, Week 2 in May 2020 and/or for use at the resort for resort purchases (gift shop, spa, wine bar, jewelry shop, etc.). Winner and guest must register (or be registered) for at least 5 nights of BeachBind, at least three of which must be during Week 2 and pay all related cost and fees. A Grand Prize winner that is already registered for 2020 week 2 and paid in full may request a refund of the applicable amount less applicable costs and fees and/or may apply the amount as a credit to be used at the resort. A Grand Prize winner that is registered for Week 1 may extend their trip by 3 days into Week 2. See official rules for complete details and other restrictions.*

About Your Posted Photo:

​     Post a photo that in your mind represents the spirit or energy of BeachBind, makes you think of BeachBind, or in your mind, captures something about BeachBind.

     The photo does not have to be fancy or professional, and does not have to have exotic beach scenes or even be outside! Even a selfie in your bed will do - but get creative so it will attract attention! 

 

     The photo does have to be a photo posted for the first time between now and the contest deadline (you cannot use a previously posted photo and edit the caption or comments).

    The photo posted must be a photograph that you own or have permission to post, and you must also have permission of all recognizable persons appearing in the photo to post it."

TO ENTER: Post a photo on www.FetLife.com during the contest period (you cannot use a previously posted photo and edit the caption or comments), tag the RopeLab profile in the comments or the caption https://fetlife.com/users/4377545  (e.g. type @RopeLab), and mention www.BeachBind.com or the BeachBind FetLife Event page link in the caption or a comment.   Then select "I'm Going" or "Maybe Going" on the BeachBind event page (if you have not already), and fill out the entry form at BeachBind.com and link to your photo as posted on FetLife.  The photo posted must be a photograph that you own or have permission to post, and you must also have permission of all recognizable persons appearing in the photo to post it. Entry forms must have complete and accurate information to be valid. Contest starts on Octboer 6, 2019 and ends when the drawing occurs. This drawing is open only to U.S. residents who, as of the beginning of the Promotion Period are 18 years of age or older who are not BeachBind 2019 headline Presenters or otherwise employees of RopeLab, LLC or their immediate family. All entries become the property of RopeLab, LLC. Only Official Contest Entry Forms will be accepted. No mechanically reproduced entries accepted. Limit one entry per person. RopeLab, LLC is not responsible for computer system, hardware, software or program malfunctions, malicious attacks or for other errors, failures, or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature or the cause of third parties.  One (1) Grand Prize winner for the grand prize will be selected by random drawing conducted by RopeLab, LLC from all eligible entries received. All eligible entries must be received and completed during the Promotion Period as further described above. Drawing will be held on or after October 31, 2019 or thereafter at RopeLab, LLC's discretion.  Entries must be receive by October 31, 2019 at 11pm EST.  Late entries may be accepted by RopeLab, LLC at RopeLab, LLC's sole discretion prior to the drawing. The contest term may be extended to allow for additional entries or for other reasons at RopeLab, LLC's discretion.  All drawings are final and binding on all matters related to the drawing. Winners need not be present and will be notified by e-mail, phone, or text message, within approximately 48-72 hours of their name being drawn. Upon notification, winners must claim their prizes in a writing received by RopeLab. If a given winner does not respond or claim their prize within 3 days of initial notification, the drawing may be extended and a new drawing may take place so that an alternate winner will be selected at random from among remaining eligible entries. RopeLab, LLC may choose to draw one or more names for the grand prize as back-up(s). The back-up(s) may be awarded the Grand Prize if the winner does not claim their prize within 3 days. The claim period may be extended at RopeLab, LLC's discretion. To claim the Grand Prize, winner must register for BeachBind 2020 for at least 5 nights, three of which must be during week 2 and must make payment to the travel agent as invoiced. To claim prizes, winners must complete any and all legal documents requested by RopeLab, LLC, the travel agent, Tom's Trips, and Hedonism II and return them to RopeLab, LLC within five (5) working days after receipt of such documents. Noncompliance may result in disqualification of the winner. First Prize shall consist of a prize package from Knotheadnylon.com which will consist of 6 thirty foot ropes (color of winner's choice from then available colors) plus a tee shirt as available at that time (color of choice as available), or otherwise something of similar value at RopeLab LLC's or knotheadnylon.com's discretion.  Second prize will consist of a 8 ropes from Black Lotus Rope, color of winner's choice from then available colors). Third prize will be a -Rigor- Signed Print (or T-Shirt), choice of print size up to 12x18 or Rigor print T-Shirt. First, Second, and Third prizes will be awarded to the applicants that submitted a valid entry and were not otherwise disqualified by RopeLab, LLC, that respectively receive the most, the second most, and third most number of "Likes" + "Comments" on the photo that they uploaded to FetLife and linked on their application form as of October 31, 2020 at 11pm EST.  In the event of a tie for first, second, or third prize, a drawing will be held to select the winner(s).  Prizes are subject to availability and subject change for any reason at RopeLab LLC's discretion. Winners are liable for shipping costs. If RopeLab, LLC determines for any reason that the winner is disqualified or the winning entry is void or invalid, the promotional period may be extended, and a new drawing may take place at RopeLab LLC's discretion and an alternate winner will be selected from among remaining eligible entries by random drawing, or the back-up winner may be selected. For first, second, and third prizes, the backup winners may be the valid applicant that received the next-most "Likes" + "comments" on their Fetlife photo.  Winner may be responsible for pick-up for Prize or delivery costs of Prize at RopeLab's discretion. Winner shall be solely responsible for all applicable taxes, fees, expenses, shipping, and charges, incurred as a result of winning any Prize and agrees to indemnify and hold RopeLab, LLC and its owner and agents harmless for any such taxes, fees, expenses or charges. Shipping for the first, second, and third prizes is estimated at about $35 in the United States, or at the discretion of RopeLab or the prize may be delivered in person at BeachBind 2020 or another agreed event, and the discretion of RopeLab. The Grand Prize drawing will be for one Grand Prize, which will consist of a certificate provided by Hedonism II Resort for a resort credit for $750 for use during  BeachBind 2020 at Hedonism II Resort, and subject to all terms and conditions of the certificate for use as provided by Hedonism II Resort at its and RopeLab's sole discretion. To be eligible to use the Grand Prize, the winner must have registered or must register for BeachBind V 2020 for at least 5 nights, three of which must be during week 2, using the BeachBind website and pay for a minimum of 5 nights at the regular, then current rate between May 2-14th 2020, with week two dates being May 9th-14th, 2020.  All payments must be made through Tom's Trips. Air fare and other transportation is not included and winner will be liable for the costs of such transportation. The certificate will entitle the winner to receive a credit for up to $750, which can be used to offset resort registration fees, meaning a discount off the resort portion of the registration fee per night per person as listed on www.beachbind.com, less applicable costs and fees per night up to $100 per night per person in applicable fees and costs. The winner may use all or a portion of the certificate as a resort credit for use at the resort. The resort credit can be used for resort purchase, which typically include the spa, wine bar, gift shop, and jewelry shop, among other things, but subject to the resort's available items at the time of use and further subject to the terms and conditions of the certificate at the resort's and RopeLab's sole discretion. If any refunds are provided to any amounts previous paid to Tom's Trips, a 5% credit card fee will apply on any amounts previously paid by credit card.  RopeLab and Tom's Trips reserve the right to apply any other actual charge, expense, fee, offset, taxes, liabilities, credit or the like incurred by it in addition to the previously described costs and fees. The total credit of the Grand Prize for the winner will not exceed a total of $750 and the actual amount available for use will be based on any applicable offest. Discount for BeachBind 2019 for two people for two nights each totaling $732-$1500 depending on room type cost less applicable cost & fees. Grand Prize Winner must registered (or be registered) for at least 5 nights for BeachBind three of which must be during week 2 and pay all other cost and fees. Grand Prize winner that is already registered and paid in full may request a refund of the applicable amount less applicable fees or a credit to be applied to BeachBind 2020; but all refunds shall be as available and at the discretion of Tom's Trips and Ropelab. .All discounts and credits are subject to Hedonism II resort's rules regarding its certificates, determined at its sole discretion. Neither RopeLab LLC  nor Tom's Trips has any liability for decisions or changes made by Hedonism II regarding its Certificate policies and contest entry shall not hold RopeLab, LLC or Tom's Trips responsible for any changes or decisions made by said resort.  Room type selection may be at the sole discretion at the resort and is subject to availability. Winner of any prize is liable for any taxes or government fees imposed as a result of any prizes awarded. Prizes are non-transferable. The Grand Prize winner at must be registered or register for BeachBind 20202 per these rules and make payment in full within 3 days of notice of prize or agree on payment terms at the discretion of RopeLab and Tom's Trips,  or as otherwise agreed by Tom's Trips and RopeLab, LLC at their sole discretion. The Grand Prize may be forfeited at RopeLab LLC's discretion if payment is not timely made, in which case it may be awarded to the next backup or a new drawing may be held at RopeLab's discretion. All payments are or may be non-refundable as provided by the registration terms.  Cash value of the grand prize certificate is $.001. Cash value of the first, second, and third prize is $.001. The Grand Prize Certificate cannot be combined with any other discount or promotion, and the Certificate is not valid for any other events. The Certificate is subject to booking availability at Hedonism II resort. Certificate is issued by Hedonism II and may be redeemed through Tom's Trips when booking registrations for the event, and Beachbind, RopeLab, LLC, Tom's Trips or their various organizers, leaders, owners, agents and employees shall not be liable or responsible for the action or inaction of Hedonism II with respect to the certificate or this drawing or otherwise if Hedonism II fails to honor the certificate, imposes additional fees, or for any other action or inaction of Hedonism II.  There shall be one Grand Prize winner, one first prize winner, one second prize winner, and one third prize winner.  The Grand Prize Winner will be drawn at random and must have submitted an official Contest Entry Form per these rules.  Decisions regarding eligibility, winners, or the interpretation of these rules shall be made at the complete discretion of RopeLab, LLC.  Valid in the United States only, and may not valid in Rhode Island, New York, or Florida or anywhere that is prohibited or requires contest registration for this contest. In order to claim a Prize or receive any Prize benefits or related services, winners may be required to sign additional forms, agreements, waivers and/or releases (including but not limited to standard registration agreements, resort forms, releases, etc.) and shall be required to otherwise be eligible to participate in RopeLab and any activities or receive services pursuant to any awarded prizes per the then-existing rules and polies of RopeLab, LLC and Hedonism II.  Failure of a winner to do so or be so eligible may void any rights of winner to claim the prize at RopeLab, LLC's discretion. Each person who participates in the Promotion fully and unconditionally agrees to comply with and abide by these Official Rules and all BeachBind terms and rules, along with all resort rules, RopeLab rules, BeachBind event rules, and the decisions of RopeLab, LLC, which shall be final and binding in all respects. Winners hereby release RopeLab, LLC, Tom's Trips, and Hedonism II from any and all claims, liability, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the awarding, receipt, possession and/or use or misuse of any prize or participation in any prize-related activity or at BeachBind or at the resort. In addition, winner acknowledges that RopeLab, LLC, Tom's Trips, and Hedonism II, have neither made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Unless otherwise notification is made to RopeLab, LLC, by accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of his/her/their FetLife screen name or other similar scene name, for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation. These rules are subject to change at the discretion of RopeLab, LLC and changes will be posted on the terms page for this context located within the BeachBind.com website. RopeLab, LLC may add the applicant's email address as submitted on the contest entry form to its mailing list(s) but applicant can choose to opt out of the mailing list(s) at any time. RopeLab, LLC is not responsible for any: (a) telephone, computer, or network malfunction or error; (b) communication disruption related to Internet traffic, virus, bug or non-authorized intervention; or (c) damage caused by computer virus or bug, resulting in damage to any computer from entrant’s access or the Contest Website. RopeLab, LLC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest should virus, bugs or other event causes beyond RopeLab LLC's control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest or for any other reason at RopeLab, LLC's discretion. Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Contest, or whom RopeLab, LLC believes at RopeLab, LLC's sole discretion to be causing malfunction, error, disruption or damage, or who is violating these Rules and Regulations or applicable law will be disqualified and may be referred to legal authorities. RopeLab, LLC reserves the right to cancel or modify the terms of this Contest at any time at its discretion and the applicant waives any and all claims against RopeLab, LLC and releases and holds RopeLab, LLC and its employees, owners, agents, and contractors harmless from any and all claims relating to the Drawing or any Prize. Should any winner disclaim or refuse a Prize, or otherwise fail to claim their prize per the above terms, RopeLab, LLC may extend this contest into the future, award prizes to the next backup winner, start a new contest, or otherwise cancel the contest at its discretion. Should BeachBind become canceled for any reason, the Grand Prize shall not be redeemable, and the First, Second, and Third prizes may not be redeemable at RopeLab, LLC's discretion.
