COVID Protocols at Hedonism II Resort

 

The Resort consists largely of an outdoor, open air environment, including the main dining room and lobby, and all rooms have separate ventilation and doors from the outside. However, to ensure safety of the guests and staff and adhere to the Ministry of Health's directives, the current resort protocols (which are subject to change at any time) are as follows:

• Masks:  All resort guests and staff must wear masks throughout the resort except when:

  • On the beach

  • In the pools

  • Eating or drinking

  • In their rooms

• Occupancy Limits: Indoor spaces like the Gym, Kama Sutra Palace, Piano Bar, and Disco have strict occupancy limits per the Health Ministry's directive, and Masks must be worn inside. The limits are:

  • Gym: 15​

  • Kama Sutra Palace: 35

  • Piano Bar: 45

  • Piano Bar Conference Room: 11

  • Disco: 19

• Social Distancing: The resort staff and guests are expected to maintain 6 foot social distancing in common areas, including the lobby, restaurants, bars, and pools

• Temperature checks: The resort institutes regular temperature checks for staff and guests.

• Food Service Changes:  The buffet currently does not allow self-service. Rather, kitchen staff will happily prepare plates while wearing PPE.

• Sanitation: The resort provides:

  • Continuous and effective disinfection of in room surfaces and air conditioners.

  • Frequent sanitizing of high contact areas.

  • Detailed disinfection of luggage at time of arrival.

• PPE:  Personal protection equipment supplies are provided for each guest.

• Hand Sanitizer:  The resort has set up anti-bacterial gel stations in all areas throughout the resort and staff offering anti-bacterial gel to guests on a regular basis.

• Medical Staff On-Site:  The resort currently has 24-hour medical service with on-property medical team including specially trained nurses in the detection and care of potential COVID-19 cases.

• Staff Training:  The resort provides continuous training about preventative measures and disinfection processes for rooms and common areas.

• COVID Testing Onsite: The resort offers testing on-site. The fees are $20 per rapid antigen test and $90 per PCR test.​

• Isolation Room Block: The resort has a block of rooms designated for isolation for those that have symptoms of COVID-19. The resort has an enhanced 24-hour medical staff to assist. If you test positive and are unable to travel home after your booking ends, Hedonism II will provide complimentary quarantine accommodations at the resort until you re-test. Quarantine periods are typically 5-14 nights. While you are in quarantine, the resort will deliver meals to your room, but you will be required to remain in the quarantine until you test negative. There is a small outdoor area outside the quarantine rooms that you can use, but you will not be allowed to use any other resort areas or facilities. Should you develop more severe symptoms, you will be transferred to a medical facility.
